Suzi Goldston

Meet Suzi Goldston, our Director of Missions and Hospitality who stepped into the LaGrange First United Methodist Church family in January 2024. She’s called LaGrange home since 1986, studied at West Georgia College, and even served as Food Coordinator at First Presbyterian Church. What drew her here? She fell in love with the positive attitude, all-hands-on-deck teamwork, and genuine love for God she witnessed—a perfect backdrop for her passion to serve.

Suzi and her husband Bobby (he’s a regular helper with Meals On Wheels and the Soup Kitchen) have a daughter, Jamie, who lives out in Fort Worth, Texas. And let’s not forget their two dogs: one lovable stray plus the ever-adventurous Captain.

When she’s not organizing service projects, Suzi’s busy whipping up new recipes. Her fellow staff members—always eager taste-testers—can’t wait to see what she cooks up next! With her big heart, enthusiasm for ministry, and knack for hospitality, Suzi truly embodies what community outreach at LaGrange First UMC is all about. We’re so thankful she’s part of our church family!
