Andy Rainey

Andy Rainey is our Executive Minister here at LaGrange First United Methodist. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University, Andy enjoyed a successful 20-year career in finance before joining our staff in 2011 as Operations Manager—eventually stepping up as Church Administrator. He’s also a proud LaGrange native and a Certified Church Administrator, married to Esther, with three children—Will, Matt, and Elizabeth—and their pups Sugar and Nellie.

Beyond the office, Andy is knee-deep in restoring a 1964 Chevy C10 pickup (which he’s owned since he was 14!), and when he’s not turning wrenches, he loves to travel and play cards. Oh, and did we mention he’s been drumming since the sixth grade? We’re all secretly hoping he’ll dust off that drum set for us every now and then!
