Summer Day Camp Kids get Messy

Our Summer Day Camp at First United Methodist Church blends outdoor play, creative projects, STEM activities, field trips, and faith formation into weeks your kids will talk about long after summer’s over.

 Children entering kindergarten through 5th grade (as of August 2026) are welcome at summer camp. We limit class sizes to keep the experience personal and safe, spots are first-come, first-served.

Two summer camp options to fit your family's schedule.

  • Day Camp 9:00 am - 3:00 pm | $125/week
    Perfect for families who need quality summer programming in LaGrange during traditional camp hours.
  • Day Camp + Extended Care 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | $175/week
    For working parents in Troup County who need full-day care. Drop off as early as 8:00 am and pick up as late as 5:00 pm at our downtown LaGrange location.

Application Fee:  There is a $35 non-refundable application fee per week (regardless of which option you choose). This fee holds your child’s spot and is payable by check in addition to the weekly camp fee.

Choose one week or all nine at our summer camp in LaGrange, Georgia! Each week at First United Methodist Church offers unique activities, field trips, and fun. (Please note: No camp on May 25, June 19, and July 3. July 24 dismissal at noon.)

  • June 8-12: Holiday Week
  • June 15-18: Kids in the Kitchen
  • June 22-26: Surfers v. Bikers
  • June 29-July 2: Stars & Stripes
  • July 6-10: Nature Safari
  • July 13-17: Olympics
  • July 20-24: Talent Show
